Metamorphosis

I’ve been toying with the idea of having a blog for a year or so, but had a lot of trouble committing to a topic or subject. After much deliberation on what I enjoy, a slightly morbid epiphany hit me one day; I love death!

I love looking into such a human experience we all share and seeing how it is celebrated throughout the years and by a myriad of cultures. Although I know it can be seen as more of an anthropological topic or a niche in history, it brings me great joy and ignites a level of curiosity that I experienced rarely through my studies.

With this blog, I want to showcase my research on death culture, as well as make some sources available that may not be so easily accessible unless you can go to university libraries. I also want to use this blog as an opportunity to continue my love for the subject and not loose the skills I acquired for my degrees.

So here’s to new beginnings! Afterall, life is cyclical and when one stage ends, another begins.
